We are part of CREATE Federation and under the leadership of the Executive Headteacher, together with the Head of School our purpose is to provide the very best possible education for our children through high quality training and professional development.

The governing body are seeking to appoint a playworker to join our after-school club team from 19th May 2025. The post will be required until at least April 2026.

Hours of work Monday- Friday 3:20PM -6:00PM (13 hours, 20 minutes per week)

Duties include:

  • Safeguarding the children in your care.
  • Providing and managing appropriate activities for children in the hall and/or outside on the school playground.
  • Preparing a cold snack for the children.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a team who will establish our new wrap around care provision. Candidates who also wish to apply for the Breakfast Club Play Worker role (see DCC website) combining the positions should make this clear on their application form.
