Job Description

An opportunity has arisen within the Amber Valley, Bolsover and North East Derbyshire Mental Health Team for two qualified and committed Social Workers to support Adult Social Care in Derbyshire on full time permanent basis.

The team works with people with mental health difficulties from the age of 18 upwards. You will require good working knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005, as you will be assessing clients care needs, and working with them and their support networks to create support plans, as well as knowledge of the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation. Using person centred, strengths-based approaches you will be supporting people to lead fulfilled lives in our local communities.

Our base is at Clay Cross Area office but we are continuing to offer a hybrid approach to working, and our team is currently working from home and from the office based on the needs of the service.
