Being in the heart of the national forest we value all our trees and are looking to expand our tree team with this new role.

Working within the award-winning Parks and Green Spaces Service, the role will see you make a direct impact on quality of life in South Derbyshire and require you to providing expert guidance on arboriculture matters in relation to Tree Preservation Orders, planning applications and supporting other members of the team.

We are looking for someone who is determined to achieve the very best for the communities in which they work and who will step up to take the initiative and the assuring our tree stock is managed to the highest standard.

It is a role that requires an arboricultural background, with partnership working skills, good communication, an ability to think, plan and deliver strategically, manage a demanding workload and display a commitment to high standards, change management and meeting deadlines.

The job is a permanent and full-time appointment.
