Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maternity Cover (expected to last for 9 months) full-time Administration Assistant to join our dedicated team within Business Services.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
We are a friendly, and welcoming team, based at County Hall, Durham. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to support the Executive Support function within Business Services.
You will support transactional finance functions including requisitions, receipting, raising debtor invoices and provide a backup support service to the issuing of petty cash.
You will liaise with internal customers in respect of goods received and receipt using Oracle as well as monitoring notifications and actioning as necessary.
You will also be required to cover annual leave and provide lunchtime cover of face to face reception duties, therefore good customer service skills will be required.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You should have NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and experience of providing a range of administrative duties.
