WHAT IS INVOLVED?
This new role is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in improving resourcing, retention, and talent management processes across the organisation, while ensuring compliance with all statutory and legislative requirements. You will work closely with the Resourcing Lead (Process and Compliance) to support the delivery of a high-quality recruitment service and make impactful improvements across the function and wider council.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Resourcing Lead (Process and Compliance) to support the implementation of resourcing, retention, and talent management initiatives across the Council.
- Advise and ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., Right to Work, DBS, Agency Workers) by providing guidance, maintaining accurate records, and supporting compliance across HR and Employee Services.
- Lead the production and analysis of resourcing data and performance indicators, including contributing data for working groups focused on the Gender Pay Gap and Workforce Race Equality Standard, to drive informed decision-making and support ongoing diversity initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to identify solutions that support the Council's approach to recruitment, resourcing, and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI).
- Contribute to improving policies, processes, and practices to enhance service delivery.
- Work with Council services to support the workforce and resourcing strategy, addressing workforce risks and working to stabilise the workforce.
