Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to join our team in September 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. Candidates must hold the Mandatory Qualification for teaching deaf children and young people.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
You will be supporting deaf CYP within in our primary enhanced provision based at Durham Gilesgate Primary School. You will also hold an outreach caseload supporting deaf CYP across County Durham. This post includes additional responsibility for oversight and management of provision across both the primary and secondary Enhanced Provisions within County Durham. You will work in collaboration with headteachers and SENDCos to secure best outcomes for deaf children and young people within both Enhanced Provisions.
