About the team
The catering team are pivotal in providing an excellent customer focused catering service to the College
About the role
This is a hands-on role and will involve setting up the catering outlet, with the support of a chef, ready to offer breakfast, breaks and lunch service of hot and cold dishes, snacks, confectionary and drinks. You will be required to replenish the counter and vending machines throughout the day to ensure a swift service for customers. The successful candidate should ideally have a sound knowledge of customer service and worked in a busy catering environment but this is not essential. As a Catering Assistant you will be involved in all aspects of the hospitality service including basic food preparation, food service, and other duties associated with the retail operations including using a till.
