Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Salary: Pt 8-11 (FTE £26,698- £27,975) Actual Salary £18,754.28 - £19,651.32

Longwood Primary Academy are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our successful team. The ideal candidate would be an effective role model that sets high expectations and motivates the pupils to achieve. Applicants must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) would work alongside, and individually from class teachers. Part time applications will also be considered for this role.

"Early reading is a strength in the school" with pupils equipped to start phonics in nursery. "Leaders ensure pupils develop a rich vocabulary" and older pupils value and enjoy reading. Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are "well supported by staff and specialist teams across the Trust" with staff receiving regular training and planning to ensure that these pupils can access the curriculum.
