Local Government Pay Scale Level 3 point 5 £24,790 pa, FTE ( £20,258.31 per annum actual pro rated salary)

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm. 35.83 hours a week. Term Time only.

We are at an exciting time in our development and following an increase in student numbers we are seeking to appoint two Learning Support Assistants to enhance the learning of students who have a wide range of special educational needs. Applicants must be friendly, enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

The school currently has a variety of students with Special and Additional Educational Needs including Communication or Interaction Difficulties, Cognition and Learning Difficulties, Emotional, Social and Mental Health Difficulties, Sensory and/or Physical Needs. The school is able to meet the requirements of each individual by personalising a timetable to meet the needs outlined. Chase High School also has a Learning Resource Base which caters for students with a range of needs. The SEN department is made up of a variety of support staff who work together to achieve the best possible outcome for our students.

Chase High School is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex. It educates more than 1300 students aged 11-18 from over 40 countries.
