SEND Learning Support Assistant - Fixed Term Contract

Crays Hill Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant to join the team to provide one to one support for a child with complex additional needs.

Contract: This is a fixed term contract linked to a child to start as soon as possible until 31st August 2025.

The position is for 32.5 hours per week working 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday (includes a 30 min break). Term time only for 39 weeks per year (including Inset days).

Salary Scale 3 to 4 (Range 5-8) Actual Salary £19,199 to £19,797 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. (includes paid annual leave which must be taken during school closure periods).

We are seeking to appoint a 1:1 SEND Learning Support Assistant to work as part of the teaching and learning team to ensure the pupil is fully integrated into school life, support their individual needs; social, emotional, communication, academic and physical. The role will require working on 1:1 on targets and provision as well as providing intimate care.

· have experience of supporting children with social and emotional developmental needs

· have a high level of emotional intelligence and excellent communication/interaction skills
