Job Description

Teacher of Physics Teachers Main Pay Scale/ Upper Pay Scale £33,074 - £50,470 per annum FTE: 100% Start date: September 2025 We are seeking a science specialist to join our school to teach Physics in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and join a highly motivated team of superbly collaborative teachers committed to a creative and stimulating approach to teaching and learning, and to instilling a passion for Physics in our students.  BCHS is a Co-operative Academy which is firmly rooted in serving our community. BCHS is located in the heart of Brentwood, near the town centre, a short distance from the train station, which is 25 minutes from Liverpool Street Station. The school also includes a large sixth form campus and achievements at KS5 have been a key strength at BCHS. Parking is available on-site and there are good transport links by both rail and bus. BCHS is just over two miles from the M25. Brentwood County High School is a member of the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. The Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust, with twelve member schools within Essex. All schools in the Trust work in equal partnership and are members of the schools' Co-operative Society.
