This role will work with our Children's Services and Adults Health and Care Directorates. HCC commitments in our Social Care Directorates are to provide the best possible start in life to Hampshire's children and young people, and for adults in Hampshire, provide support and care for the vulnerable, whilst encouraging and supporting all people to stay well and prevent ill health. The critical social care systems supported by IT includes social care case management (namely Mosaic and CareDirector), and systems for education, admissions, early years, SEN, transport, and child protection. The role sits in the IT Service Management Group and will require you to manage the stability, performance, resilience and improvement of social care systems. The role will interact daily with senior management and be expected to cut across organisational boundaries to engender confidence in the IT service. This is a demanding and challenging role which will require commitment, enthusiasm, and skill to drive forward and lead service excellence. You will need to demonstrate an understanding of the social care setting, and have an excellent collaborative service delivery record, with a problem-solving mindset and a focus on continuous improvement. You will have experience in managing suppliers in delivery of critical services and know how to leverage relationships and contractual obligations to receive the best possible service from them.
