Job Title: Collections Officer
Location: Prestatyn, North Wales
Salary: £26,052 for Full Time + up to £3,000 bonus
Shifts: Full Time (37.5 hours), Monday-Friday

We are looking for a Collections Officer to join our Revenue Assurance team based in Prestatyn. The Collections Officer will be responsible for the generation of monthly aged debt reports to share with key private Medical Insurers and the ability to be able to collect on aged debt accounts from UK and foreign
Private Medical Insurers, foreign Embassies and Self Pay patients.

What you'll do:
The role will include outbound telephone calls to major insurance companies to ensure they have the necessary correspondence in order to assess high value accounts.
Responding to and resolving emails from internal and external customers.
Frequent interaction with facility staff at all levels, some travel may be required.
Respond to patient queries and record all patient interactions on the system.
Identify and escalate any revenue having an adverse effect on collections activity to the Team Leader & Cash and Collections Manger.
Resolves underpaid claims relating to bulk issues identified with specific Insurers
Contacts Insurer payer companies via phone or correspondence and initiates request for payment.
Performs appropriate follow up with Payer and gains commitment for payment.
Identifies Payer company trends and communicates trends to Line Manager & Management for further action/escalation.

Demonstrates high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required, including intermediate level on Microsoft Excel
