The Harley Street Clinic, rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC, is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our Cardiology Outpatients Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a highly skilled and supportive team, delivering exceptional patient care. Regarded as a cardiac centre of excellence our cardiology department offers a variety of Non-Invasive Cardiology procedures such as: Electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, Stress Echo's, bubble studies, Exercise tests, and various cardiac monitors.

As a Healthcare Assistant within the Cardiology team, you will work under the supervision of the clinical team to assist with nursing, medical, and clerical duties. You will contribute to both direct and indirect patient care, ensuring an efficient and high-quality service at all times.

In this role, you will assist in providing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety while respecting cultural and religious values. Acting as a patient advocate, you will report any concerns or observations to nurses and physiologists. You will perform resting ECGs, fit Holter and BP monitors, and check patients' basic vital signs as needed. Additionally, you will prepare patients for cardiology and respiratory tests and escort them to and from clinical rooms. You will also support nursing and medical staff with procedures, under supervision and following competency guidelines.

What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (desirable).
  • Good clinical skills, such as phlebotomy, would be an advantage.
