IVF Administrator

The Lister Hospital, Chelsea

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends

Shifts between 0730am and 1730pm

We have an excellent opportunity for an Administrator to join our IVF Unit at The Lister Hospital. This role will cover gaps in the service, ranging from Medical Records, Registration, Medical Secretary, new patient line, Reception and Nurse admin duties. This is a great role for someone to gain exposure in different functions of administration.

What you'll do:

  • Provide flexible administrative support across all IVF admin teams, covering gaps in Medical Records, Registration Officer, Medical Secretaries, New Patient Line, Reception, and Nurse Admin
  • Access and manage patient information using Meditex, Meditech, and Fertility Consent systems
  • Handle patient registrations, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with confidentiality protocols
  • Support the Medical Secretaries by processing referrals, handling calls, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence
  • Assist with the New Patient Line, responding to enquiries, booking initial consultations, and providing information on IVF pathways
  • Cover Reception duties, greeting patients, managing check-ins, and handling telephone and email enquiries
  • Provide Nurse Admin support, ensuring accurate documentation of treatment plans and patient follow-ups
  • Work collaboratively with all IVF departments to ensure smooth service delivery and high-quality patient care

What you'll bring:

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within a hospital setting
  • Previous administration experience within IVF is desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Multi-tasking skills and ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Highly motivated, ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
