Ivy Care is a specialist care provider supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs within residential settings. We are recruiting for a Registered Manager role in the Thurnscoe area overseeing a 10 bed service for adults with learning disabilities and autism.

Our aim is to enable people with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible by receiving the care and support consistent with their individual needs whilst using a progressive approach to their development and independence.

Your key responsibilities:

- Lead the service in delivering the best standard of care for the people we support.

- Ensure the service is fully compliant with CQC regulations as well as our own high internal standards.

- Build, develop and maintain positive relationships with commissioners, families, authorities, and other external stakeholders.

- Be a visible leader to a team of nearly 30 staff, with the support of an assistant manager, ensuring they develop and deliver the highest level of support and care.

What we need from you:

- To be a great, visible and enthusiastic leader of people.

- Previous experience at Registered Manager level or higher in adult social care is essential.

- Minimum NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

- Experience of working with people with complex needs, learning disabilities and autism.

- Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act, DOLS, Safeguarding and CQC regulations.

- Time management and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects.
