Temporary Domestic Assistant North Featherstone

Do you love to clean and keep your environment tidy? Looking for a part-time and temporary role for the flexibility to fit around your personal lifestyle?

As a Domestic Assistant, you'll be a key member of our team, providing the highest standards of domestic and laundry cleaning duties for our service users and communal areas in our Ivy Cottage service located in North Featherstone.

Standard working days would be: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (16 hours per week) however we can be flexible on days and times and are willing to discuss this.

Experience is preferred but is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn and the compassion and patience needed to support our service users.

It is essential you work in line with our policies and procedures and general health and safety measures.

· Previous cleaning experience and knowledge is desirable but not essential

· Excellent communication with a strong focus on attention to detail

· Great team player, flexibility to respond to the changing needs of those who we support

· Empathy, patience, optimism and compassion are essential for this role

· Effective organisational skills

· Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service

· Demonstrable values and a commitment to leading and supporting colleagues and service users

· Health & safety in the workplace including Control of Substances Harmful to Health (COSHH).

· Willing to work a rota pattern covering holidays and sickness
