Salary 35,235 - 39,513 Per Annum | Permanent, Fulltime | 37 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join the Contracts Management Team.

You will have the responsibility of managing contracts with commissioned service providers for Social Care that support the citizens of Lancashire.

We are currently looking for 2 full time Contract Assurance Officers to join the Non-Residential Contracts team to manage a portfolio of contracts.

The post is hybrid working, two days based in County Hall, Preston and 3 days working from home.

You must be able to use your own initiative and be flexible with where you work. There will be a requirement for you to travel across the area/county as required.

Your team has the responsibility for receiving and analysing intelligence regarding service providers commissioned by Lancashire County Council. Your team also conducts on site monitoring exercises and contract reviews, to enable them to make informed decisions on contract performance and the quality of care and service that is being delivered, addressing poor performance where necessary.

You will be dealing with escalated providers which could mean provider closures or working with a provider around quality improvement work.

You will be responsible for the management of Contract Monitoring Officer/s, ensuring that work is delegated appropriately.

The Non-Residential Contracts Team have responsibility for managing the contracts between the Authority and Social Care Providers, which include, Domiciliary Care, Short Term Care at Home, Short Term Help and Support, Extra Care, Day Care, Carers and Advocacy.
