Salary 31,067 - 35,235 Per Annum| Permanent, Full time| 37 hours per week

Join us as a Category Officer to help build a better Lancashire.
As a Category Officer, you will deliver low-value procurement activities and support Category Managers in managing strategic procurement tasks. As part of the wider Procurement and Contract Management Team, you will assist in the evaluation of existing procurement tenders and using established procurement arrangements to award contracts.
What we're looking for:
- Demonstrable administrative and organisational skills with the ability to use IT systems and electronic databases.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate technical issues effectively.
- At least 5 GCSEs (Grade C and above) or equivalent, including English and Maths
While not essential, knowledge of procurement and buying would be beneficial.
