Early Years Consultant

The Education Improvement Service is seeking to recruit an exceptional teacher with expert knowledge of early year's pedagogy who will inspire and motivate practitioners across the early years sector. This is a part time, permanent post. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for highly skilled teachers to join our enthusiastic and passionate Early Years Consultant team. Candidates must have a proven track record in aspirational teaching and learning, leading to positive outcomes for children. The ability to communicate effectively and disseminate practice clearly and passionately are essential to the role. Creative and critical thinkers are very welcome to apply.

The Early Years Consultant role involves:

  • Support and challenge for a caseload of settings across the county
  • Leading improvements within a district of the county by understanding district outcomes and meeting their needs
  • Leading and coordinating an area of learning and development
  • Writing and delivering training and cluster / network meetings
  • Mentoring quality awards
  • Travel across the county
  • Developing the learning environments at the Early Years Professional Development Centre
  • Working with other professionals within the service

This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a prorata basis.
