Are you an experienced litigation lawyer looking for a new challenge? Lead our Litigation team and make a significant impact in Lancashire. You'll achieve this by:
- Handle a variety of litigated and pre-litigated cases, including personal injury, public liability, commercial disputes, and more.
- Provide expert legal advice to council members, officers, and council-owned companies.
- Supervise and manage the Litigation team, ensuring high standards of work and effective case management.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop innovative legal services and practices.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, or equivalent with a current practising certificate.
- Extensive experience in litigation, including Fast Track and Multi Track cases.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a legal team.
Our ideal applicant will also have experience within local government handling sensitive claims. Criminal litigation and Higher rights of audience would also be beneficial to excel in this role.
