Rhyddings, part of the the LET Education Trust, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Teacher of Food Technology to join our thriving and expanding team! Join our Technology Department, led by a newly appointed subject leader, and contribute to its exciting growth and development. Access to a dedicated technology suite, boasting: A fully equipped Food Room. A dedicated computer suite for CAD/CAM with a Laser Cutter. A traditional, well-resourced workshop. Four versatile classrooms, including a general teaching space. At KS3 technology is a strong subject and pupils enjoy the unique experiences, skills and knowledge they learn. At KS4 we offer both Food and Design Technology. The popularity of these subjects has grown and there are healthy group sizes in both years 10 & 11. We have excellent training, support and professional development for all staff from Main Scale to UPS. You would be joining Rhyddings at a very exciting time, we are getting better faster. As our Food Technology specialist, you will have the scope to develop the Food Technology curriculum further and shape the offer at Rhyddings to meet the challenges of preparing pupils progressing onto post-16 opportunities, within the technology related sector and disciplines. We have strong links with local businesses and post-16 providers.
