Job Description
Due to the upcoming retirement of a longstanding teacher, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Year 4 teacher at Scotforth St Pauls CE Primary School. The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher to join our friendly and dedicated team commencing on 1st September 2025. Our school is a happy and exciting place to learn, currently catering for around 230 children between 3 and 11. Our family feel and Christian ethos and values provides opportunities for all children to flourish and reach their potential.

- Degree
* First Aid
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
- Effective teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of all pupils including pupils with Special Educational Needs and A,G & T pupils
- Ability to provide effective feedback to help learners progress
- Effectively uses Assessment for Learning strategies
- Experience of working with and engaging parents and the wider community
- Evidence of impact in developing a curriculum area or whole school change
- Experience of teaching in a KS2 classroom (in post or as a student)
