When victim-survivors of domestic violence and abuse come into refuge often suffering trauma they need above all else a safe welcoming place to stay. If you would like to contribute by cleaning properties, looking after maintenance and making them ready for the next family or individual as well as keeping communal areas clean you may want to join our team!
Leeds Women's Aid (LWA) is the largest women's charitable organisation in Leeds and provides services for victims of domestic violence and abuse, honour-based violence, forced marriage, trafficking, stalking and harassment and is the lead agency for two consortia, Leeds Domestic Violence Service and Women's Lives Leeds.
LWA are looking for LWA are looking for a hands-on, practical person who can keep the properties safe and clean and arrange maintenance and redecoration as required with a positive approach.
You will need:
- A good understanding of basic health and safety standards
- The ability to clean and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- The ability to use on-line systems for monitoring and ordering supplies etc
The closing date is 9.00 am on Monday 31st March; interviews will be held on Tuesday 8th April.
