The nature of the work that is undertaken by the IS team requires that you can communicate effectively with the whole range of specialities within a clinical research program, i.e. senior clinicians through to research nurses, statisticians, data managers and trial co-ordinators. You would have a passion for technology and a strategic view on how advances in techniques can be applied to the development of applications for clinical and health informatics research. You will take responsibility for the management and delivery of software projects, ensuring compliance with LCTC SOPs and University of Liverpool policies and regulations. You will be accountable to the Head of Information Systems, who will provide mentorship. Professional development will be supported and appropriate training will be provided as required. You should have a degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant professional experience.
