LSSL Greenspaces Service Reference Number: LSSL0233 Liverpool Streetscene Services Ltd established in 2016 is a wholly ownded subsidiary company of Liverpool City Council who sit at the heart of creating exceptional standards of environmental cleanliness and public realm services for residents, communities, and local businesses across the city of Liverpool. As a direct service provider, Liverpool Streetscene Services Ltd are responsible for the following services throughout the city of Liverpool: • Waste Management - Refuse & Recycling Collection Service • Street Cleansing • Greenspaces - Parks, Cemeteries and Highways Grounds Maintenance • Highways Maintenance These services are key to ensuring the City of Liverpool remains clean, green and accessible to all, helping to develop and maintain local civic pride. We are ambitious, both as an organisation and as a city. Our plans for growth coupled with the high standards that we set for our services requires exceptionally talented individuals who will be enthusiastic about being part of this organisation. Working Pattern: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 3:30pm. There is a 24/7 Emergency Standby Rota, and you will be required to be on call 1 week in 4 on a rolling rota, equating to 13 occasions per year. Standby Allowance will be paid in addition to the annual salary and currently is paid at £293.30 per week. Reference Number: LSSL0233 We are seeking to recruit a Tree Inspector to undertake tree condition surveys and inspections across Liverpool's Greenspaces, ensuring Liverpool City Council fulfils its statutory duties and conservation expectations in relation to its tree stock. You will be required to identify and prioritise tree work requirements based on the tree's health & various legislative guidance relating to the Arboricultural industry and to investigate and respond to enquiries from the public and Liverpool City Council ensuring compliance to LSSL and Liverpool City Council's tree management policies. To fulfil the requirements of this role you must have a full UK driving licence and hold an NVQ level 3 or above in Arboriculture (or equivalent extensive experience) coupled with a Lantra Professional Tree Inspector Cert (PTI), AA Tech Cert or similar.
