Conractor Tester Self Employed

Metro Safety are the preferred providers of fire, health and safety, and building services to many of the UK's leading managing agents and property owners, as well as local authorities and major retailers.

Contractor Role: Tester (Outside IR35)

We are seeking an independent contractor to carry out a variety of testing services, including fire alarm tests, health & safety inspections, and sprinkler tests.

Key Details:

• Engagement Type: Contract (Outside IR35)
• Work Scope: The contractor will manage their own workload and schedule to meet agreed-upon deadlines and service standards.
• Responsibilities: Deliver testing services as outlined in the contract, ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations.
• Training: While prior experience is beneficial, we offer optional training to familiarize contractors with our procedures.
• Work Conditions: This role involves on-site activities, which may include extensive walking and stair climbing.

Requirements:

• Status: Must operate as an independent contractor with responsibility for your own tax and National Insurance obligations.
• Equipment: All necessary PPE and testing equipment will be provided.
• Technology: A smartphone capable of accessing the internet and sending photos is essential.
• Transport: Access to your own vehicle is required.

Contract Details:

• Engagement: Part-time contract with potential for additional assignments.
• Autonomy: Contractors have the freedom to determine how services are delivered, provided contractual obligations are met.
