Job Description
Our Content Associate will write and edit engaging content for our customer and employer brand as well as create, own and execute the social media strategy. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires agility and creativity. You'll be a fantastic and thoughtful storyteller who loves to write copy, living and breathing social and branded content, and be passionate about increasing follower acquisition across our social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube, Linkedin and Glassdoor) and websites.
- Own and write compelling brand content for online and offline including nursery and admissions collateral, website copy, social media captions, parent newsletters, parenting and career articles, as well as ad-hoc content for other internal departments and stakeholders.
- Work alongside and support our Senior Marketing Manager to be the brand guardian for content and tone of voice.
- Work closely with our Digital Marketing Analyst and SEO agency to ensure online content is written with SEO best-practice for maximum optimisation, in line with our brand tone of voice.
- Own and implement social media campaigns and daily activities, working with our Creative Studio to create and publish a rich mix of on-brand content.
- Be responsible for responding to social media comments and direct messages.
- Establish close relationships with key stakeholders including our Education, People, Academy, Food, Safety, Property and Admissions teams to ensure a constant flow of engaging content.
- Support our Senior Marketing Manager with the online content strategy for our parent and employer brand propositions.
- Stay at the forefront of social media trends and technologies, continually sourcing innovative ideas and reporting back to our marketing team on competitor activity.
- Support the day-to-day operation of the business including ad-hoc tasks as delegated.
- Excellent written English and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Experience writing creative and engaging content for digital and print.
- Demonstrable experience of social media content creation and publishing, preferably in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Good design skills and proficiency in image editing tools - Photoshop is desirable. Video editing skills are also highly desirable but not essential.
- High levels of organisation
- Up to £27,000 per annum
- Performance related bonus
