Main duties of the job

As an Activities Driver, your focus will be on providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities, while also assisting them with any special needs during the journey. This may include carrying packages, opening doors, helping residents onto and out of the vehicle, and ensuring they reach their destination safely. You will need to have a PCV license with Cat D1 and an acceptable driving record, as well as the ability to react calmly in emergencies and be considerate towards the residents. The role also involves providing miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed.

Assisting residents with any special needs during transportation, such as carrying packages, opening doors, assisting residents onto and out of the vehicle, and assisting residents to the point of destination required. Always focusing on driving; directs tasks and passenger interactions to onboard support staff while the vehicle is in motion.   • To be successful in this role, you must have a PCV license with Cat D1 and an acceptable driving record. You will also be required to attend periodic Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training as needed.
