We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to help keep our team organised and efficient. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, including collecting and inputting data into national databases, supporting daily operations, and ensuring seamless coordination within the team.

Main duties of the job

Working alongside a team of clinical stroke specialists who work within a community setting.

Patient facing tasks such as telephone enquires, booking appointments, and patient related administration.

Team tasks: ordering equipment, writing up minutes from meetings, maintaining rosters and collecting data. General administrative tasks.

National databases: collecting and inputting data into various databases in a timely and accurate manner

Qualifications

Essential

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Numerate and literate
  • To have knowledge and understanding of confidentiality

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working as a receptionist/administrator

Desirable

  • Experience with working and managing patient related clerical support
  • Worked in the NHS

Skills & Knowledge

Essential

  • Excellent, adaptable communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to generate databases and reports

Desirable

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
