We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the team at HMP Hatfield. HMP Hatfield is split into 2 sites -Hatfield Main and Hatfield The Lakes. HMP Hatfield is a Category D male prison with capacity of around 360.

This is a rare opportunity to join our close knit team, being responsible for the admin services across both sites - HMP Hatfield and The Lakes. You will split your time between the two prisons - 3 days per week at Hatfield, 2 days at The Lakes.

Salary

This position is full time, working 37.5 hours per week and youll receive an annual salary of £24,924 - £27,582 per annum - depending on experience.

Hours For this full time role, you will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts are 08:00 - 16:00or 09:00 - 17:00.

Main duties of the job

As our new Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Carry out admin duties all healthcare pathways, predominantly primary care
  • Work closely with colleagues in other areas of the healthcare team, including mental health
  • Arrange and coordinate internal and external appointments, including hospital appointments
  • Deal with patients, colleagues and other professionals via phone and email, as well as face to face
  • Bew responsible for ordering and management of stock
  • Attend meetings and take minutes as required

  • Experience within an admin role - ideally from a healthcare environment, but this isn't essential
  • Any healthcare experience would be a bonus
  • Any experience of using healthcare systems, such as SystmOne / EMIS would be beneficial
  • Confident in using data, maintaining databases and producing reports
