Job Description
Job summary
This post holder will be a member of the Management Accounts team reporting to the Finance Manager, working closely with the Management Accounts and Property Finance Managers to answer queries. The role requires extensive use of excel, Oracle, Sage and Unit4 to enable interrogation of data to answer queries and a good understanding of budgeting for property services and cost recovery.
Main duties of the job
Finance Query Resolutions * Billing * Occupancy changes * Gathering invoice backing * Bookable * GP VAT Credits * Unavailability Credits * True -Ups Processing: * Sales Invoice/Credit Requests * Adjustment journals related to Finance Queries Reporting * Analysis and Reporting on finance related queries * Managing finance queries, with the use of JIRA ticketing system Other * Assisting with wider Management Accounts team * Assisting with other areas of finance o E.g. Balance Sheet investigation of aged items. o Assisting in Budget, True Up Process Communication * To respond to queries professionally and timely. * Communicating proactively within the finance team and the wider company as necessary. * Interacting with other departments as required resolving property accounting queries. * Interact with our internal and external customers. * Participate in finance and property team events as required (along with other team members). Development * Participate in all aspects of continuous improvement to processes. * Develop and maintain a fit for purpose control environment. * Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the property and finance staff and customers (tenants and Commissioners).

Our amazing Team are looking for a new colleague to join them as Assistant Accountant - Queries on a full-time permanent hybrid basis. This post holder will be a member of the Management Accounts team reporting to the Finance Manager, working closely with the Management Accounts and Property Finance Managers to answer queries. The role requires extensive use of excel, Oracle, Sage and Unit4 to enable interrogation of data to answer queries and a good understanding of budgeting for property services and cost recovery. The post holder will liaise with internal and external customers as required. Analyse Oracle/Sage to create meaningful and insightful information. As a member of the wider team the post holder will also be required to assist in other daily finance functions as required and will provide cover in the event of other members of the team being on leave. - * Competent excel user (Pivot tables, v-lookups etc..)
- * Evidence of on-going continuous professional development.

- * Able to readily understand new and complex subjects.
