The successful candidate will be supporting the therapy teams within the heartlands site to complete site visits, deliver, adapt and collect equipment. To support this the applicant needs to have a UK driver's license with no more than 3 points.
The successful candidate will also have multiple responsibilities in taking a lead of managing equipment stores and ensuring the stock levels of multiple localities and services.
There are opportunities to work with patients both in their own home and also within a inpatient capacity.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will utilise technical skills to assist in the assessment and treatment of a patients physical, psychological and functional needs, and how these can be supported within their own environment on discharge. The candidate will have their own caseload and will need to be able to use clinical reasoning to prioritise and manage their own time to work unsupervised.
The use of their knowledge of equipment will be imperative in supporting with the completion of site visits, delivering and fitting equipment in patient's home, and feeding back this information to other members of the team.
The successful candidate will become responsible for the onsite peripheral store of equipment at Heartlands ensuring that stock levels are maintained to allow ongoing support for patients and their needs.
As well as taking responsibility for their own development needs they will have responsibilities in the support and supervision pf more junior members of the team. They will also be involved in contributing towards Therapy Service Improvement.
