Job summary
The Research, Development & Innovation Finance Team at UHBFT are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated, professional individual who thrives on a challenge.

The post is based at Regent Court, George Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham B15 1NU, with home working available for 2 days each week.
Experience within an NHS financial management environment is essential. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, be proficient in the use of spreadsheets, databases and computerised ledger systems and have excellent keyboard skills.
You must have the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance staff and present financial information in a meaningful way to aid decision making.

Essential
- *Five Grade GCSE s at Grade 4 or above (or A to C pre 2019 grading) including Maths & English.
Desirable
- *Progression to CCAB Qualification or significant relevant experience
Experience
Essential
- *Experience of working in Management Accounts,
- *Good Understanding of management accounting concepts and techniques.
Desirable
- *Experience preferably within the NHS or another large complex organisation, for long enough to have acquired a good working knowledge of the annual cycle from financial planning through to year end forecasting and preparation of year-end accounts.
- *Working Knowledge or an interest in NHS including understanding of key targets and the performance management framework.
