Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Domestic Assistant to join the Highfield Community Rehabilitation Centre Team.
Weekly Working hours Bank hours for when needed the hours of work are between the hours 6:30am to 6:00pm, over a 7-day period including bank holidays.

Main duties of the job
To be responsible for and take pride in the cleanliness of the healthcare environment, working as part of the primary care healthcare team. Undertaking duties relating to the operation of a rehabilitation establishment, to work under the general supervision of a care leader.

Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ level 2 in cleaning or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
- Basic food hygiene training
Knowledge
Essential
- Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and requirements
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe working practices.
Experience
Essential
- Previous experience of working in a cleaning role, and a health care setting
- Experience of maintaining records
Desirable
- Previous NHS experience
- Previous experience of working with the general public
