This temporary job as a Bank Healthcare Assistant at Elysium Healthcare's Moorlands Neurological Centre in Stoke-on-Trent offers an hourly rate of up to £12.85 (plus a 12.07% holiday allowance uplift). You'll have the flexibility to work the shifts you want, with weekdays, nights and weekend shifts regularly available. The role involves providing care for people with neurological conditions, and you'll be part of a team that works together to help them lead a valued and fulfilled life.
Main duties of the job
As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you'll use your experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or Care Worker to support people with neurological conditions at Moorlands Neurological Centre. You'll need a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance to work in this challenging but rewarding environment. The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts, and as a bank worker on a zero-hour contract, you'll have the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

There is no minimum number of hours that you need to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.
Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps you'll have the nursing shifts at Moorlands Neurological Centre secured that you want.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a Healthcare Assistant on our bank you'll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.
Where you will be working
Location: Lockwood Road, Cheadle, Staffordshire, ST10 4QU Moorlands Neurological Centre is being developed as a neurobehavioral hospital service for men and women over the age of 18 years, who have an acquired brain injury.
The service will support and care for people who, because of their injury, have challenging and complex needs that are preventing them from making further progress with their lives and require a neurobehavioral rehabilitation programme.
