Main duties of the job
We have an excellent opportunity for a male support worker to work alongside our client in Bradford. Our client is a male with a brain injury, who would like assistance with planning, organising and budgeting, as well as a companion to support him with social access in the community and has a short term goal to get some work. There is no personal care involved within this role. The successful candidate will be male and have previous brain injury or complex needs experience, hold a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.

Job responsibilities

- Due to the clients support needs and preference the successful candidate will be male and have previous brain injury or complex needs experience, hold a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle. Pay: £16 per hour Hours: TBC Key Responsibilities: • Engaging with personalised routines inclusive of hoists. • Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility. • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions. • Providing emotional support and companionship. • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions. • Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements: • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care. • To be able to deal with challenging behaviours. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Flexibility to work the specified hours.
