The position is supporting a vulnerable adult living within their own home, working alongside a small staff team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as a visible and capable role model for the team.
- Report any changes in needs to the designated Care Manager or Registered Manager so that updates can be made to the care plan.
- Assist the Care Manager or Registered Manager in ensuring that all shifts are adequately covered according to the allocated funding.
- Maintain accurate records, such as Medication Administration Records (MAR) and care support diaries, and inform relevant individuals of any changes.
- Administer and manage medications, ensuring that appropriate stock levels are maintained at all times.
- Provide personal care assistance to the individual you are supporting.
- Participate in and support activities both inside and outside the home.
- Accompany clients to hospital appointments.
- Adhere to infection prevention and control procedures at all times.
Pay:
As part of the role you will be paid £14.00 per hour of day support, and £8:72 per hour for sleep over shifts.

Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a Care Support Assistant, where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay after completion of training.
You will be paid £14.00 per hour after training is completed and a reduced rate for sleeping nights (training is provided during our recruitment process)

Your responsibilities as our Care Support Assistant will include: Assisting and supporting vulnerable clients to enable them to live the life they choose (where possible) to promote their independence. Your role will include, companionship, supporting with housework, running errands and supporting with preparing and cooking meals. Administering medication may be required.
Skills and Experience required of our Care Support Assistant:
You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others. Possessing a UK full driving license and having some previous experience would be advantageous.
