You will be paid £15.92 per hour for day shifts and £17.83 per hour for waking night shifts, after training is completed.
This is a part time role consisting of waking nights based in Preston, PR3, involving 10 hour waking night shifts on a 1:1 basis as well as additional evening and early morning shifts to assist on a 2:1 basis.
Main duties of the job
This role is a complex care role, supporting a 10 year old boy who has a Tracheostomy and is Ventilator dependent.
The position is a part time position and involves waking night shifts on a 1:1 basis with some additional evening and early morning shifts to provide 2:1 care.
Skills and Experience required of our Care Support Assistant:
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
Professionalism when handling confidential information
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
One year experience in care preferred but not essential

You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others. Possessing a UK full driving license and having some previous experience would be advantageous.
