Job summary
An exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Lead (band 6) to work within our inpatient services at Hopewood Park. We have posts available within our Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, Adult Acute Wards and Rehabilitation Services.
We are looking for a caring, empathetic, enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a passion to improve the lives of our patients. You should be a confident individual who is keen to contribute to the delivery of high quality nursing care and service development.
You should have a strong interest in working within a busy and challenging environment, have a high level of resilience and patience and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Main duties of the job
Work within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative, needs based care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation within an Inpatient setting.
Act as an identified deputy in the absence of the Ward Manager.
Facilitate and coordinate clinical practice, ensuring high standards of evidence based care and treatment.
Be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring services.
Lead on the implementation of all performance indicators, essential standards and quality outcomes.
Develop and where appropriate deliver training packages to enhance the knowledge and skills of the workforce and students.
Facilitate staff appraisals and Clinical Supervision and support personal development plans.
Provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity.
