Job summary

To undertake and manage complex administrative duties relating to the function of the Complex Care Team.

To provide administrative support for the commissioning of packages of care for Complex Care patients.

To provide an efficient, effective and confidential clerical, secretarial and administrative service to the Complex Care Team

To support the Complex Care Team in the efficient operation of administrative services

Main duties of the job

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and conscientious Support Officer to join the Complex Care Team of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board to provide a commissioning and administrative service.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills - verbal and written. The role will include liaising with a range of senior management within the Health Board; Welsh Government and Local Authorities; safeguarding and QPS teams; partnership agencies; independent providers; family members; patients and health professionals. Candidates should be flexible, able to work well as a member of a team and be able to organise and prioritise their workload. The successful candidate must be fully conversant with all aspects of Microsoft packages and current office procedures. Experience of working in multi agency projects is an advantage. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential.
