Job summary
Barchester Healthcare is recruiting a Customer Relationship Manager to join the team supporting their North division. The role involves regular travel and overnight stays as needed to support a group of care homes across the North of England and Scotland, with the aim of increasing occupancy. The successful candidate will be a friendly sales professional with a healthcare background, responsible for all sales activity for the homes, including talking to potential new residents, engaging with current residents and relatives, and actively generating leads.
Main duties of the job
The Customer Relationship Manager will represent Barchester in a friendly and professional manner, be responsible for all sales activity for the homes, talk to potential new residents over the phone and provide informative and welcoming tours of the homes, engage with residents and relatives to understand their experience and requirements, respond to sales enquiries, actively generate leads and identify local marketing opportunities, and maintain a contacts database.

NEED TO HAVE: Track record in sales and marketing, preferably in a care home setting. Excellent communication skills. Ability to present to individuals and groups. Experience building relationships within a local community. Full UK driving licence.
