Job responsibilities
Acorns Children's Hospice are now looking for a Data Officer to support with extraction and maintenance of data from our key care databases.
About the Role
At Acorns Childrens Hospice we offer specialist palliative care and support for children and their families across the West Midlands. We are there wherever and whenever they need us, in the hospice, community and at home. Our aim at Acorns is to help families feel equipped to cope at every stage of their childs life with dedicated teams offering psychological, emotional and practical support.
As a Data Officer, you will:
- Analyse care-related data, creating insightful reports
- Respond to user requests about data in our care data system with a helpful, solution-focused approach
- Help system users get up to speed with basic training
- Monitor and resolve Data Helpdesk tickets
About You
- Experience of Microsoft Excel
- Data quality and analysis experience
- Database administration, including experience of databases and data management
- High levels or accuracy and attention to detail

- £25,000 to £27,500 per annum
- 37 hours per week
- Based in Birmingham (B47 6JR) with some remote working
