Job summary
Working in the hospitality industry, sick of working long hours, split shifts then this could be the job for you. An opportunity has arisen to join the Catering Department at Freeman Hospital for 2 Dining Room supervisors. You will be part of a large team serving hot and cold food and beverages to staff and the general public. You will also be involved in the provision of hospitality during buffets and special events. You will need to be able to manage your own time and that of the team, via rosters and worksheets. You will need to be a good communicator while dealing with customers and giving instruction to your team.

- 37 hours, 30 minutes/week/5 days over 7/ working two shift times of 7am to 3pm and 11.15am to 7.15pm

Main duties of the job
- Responsible for the day to day supervision of a group of staff.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and food hygiene.
- Cash handling and rectifying mistakes.
- Ensuring stock levels of retail products.
- Compiling work rosters and work sheets.
- Serving staff and the general public in the restaurant.
- Serving hospitality during functions.
- Contribute during departmental meetings.

Job responsibilities
