Job summary
Yeatman Hospital requires an enthusiastic and reliable domestic to join the housekeeping team and support the team and facilities supervisor to ensure that National Standards of Cleanliness are implemented and maintained.
There are opportunities to work additional hours to cover staff holidays and sickness. Good rates of pay, with enhanced pay for weekend and bank holiday shifts, pension scheme, 27 days annual leave when you start. Uniform and training provided.
Main duties of the job
Main duties include general cleaning - mopping, damp dusting, vacuuming and the use of mechanical floor cleaning machines in all areas of the hospital including toilets, bathrooms, in-patient wards and out-patient departments.
Employment in this post requires an Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
