Job summary

South Tyneside requires several permanent domestic staff with a range of shifts available. High standards of cleanliness are paramount at South Tyneside we need a hardworking domestic to maintain those high standards.: NB shift times may vary week to week. Enhancements are paid for weekend working.

Range of hours between 7am to 10pm seven days a week.

This Domestic post is designed to provide cover 7 days a week to domestic services. We need a number of flexible domestic assistants to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the sites. This post requires a flexible approach to work and work routine as your shift rota may vary from week to week and in some cases will vary. Domestic experience is preferred but not essential (full training is provided)

Main duties of the job

To provide excellent standards of cleanliness whilst working to schedules relevant to allocated areas

To be flexible on a day to day basis moving area to area and across departments (within Domestic Services)

To operate machinery within Domestic Services, i.e. floor cleaning equipment whilst following health and safety guidance and training given Conduct environmental cleaning, wall washing and deep cleaning as required. Flexible support for wall washing during times of service escalation

Liaise with location department managers as required (as well as Domestic Manager)

Job responsibilities
