Job summary

Hours: Part-Time 22.5 Hours per week

(Upon completing your probationary period, you will be eligible to join the 4 Day Week program, which allows you to work 20% fewer hours without a decrease in salary)

Contract: Fixed term until 31/12/2026

Location: Central Bedforshire (And surrounding areas)

Salary: £24,500 FTE Pro Rata

Main duties of the job

To deliver a range of mental health and wellbeing 1-1 and group interventions to young people between the ages of 11-24 and provide support parents/carers and training for the professionals. To support the project by working flexibly to meet the needs of service users and contribute to the smooth running of the resilience program for young people.

Essential criteria

- Uk driving licence and access to a car

- Demonstrate experience of working with young people in 1-1 and group settings.

- Demonstrate a high level of understanding of the issues affecting young people, how this can impact upon their mental health and wellbeing and the importance of safeguarding.

- Ability to interact and engage positively and proactively with young people, whilst delivering 1:1 interventions, group programmes and providing information, advice and guidance to service users.

- Ability to interact and engage positively and proactively professionals and parent/carers whilst delivering training and providing information, advice and guidance
