Main duties of the job
- Lead the design, procurement, and deliveryof all enabling worksfor the Hinchingbrooke Hospital Redevelopment Programme.
- Ensure all contracts, budgets, and risk management plansalign with NHS and government frameworks.
- Develop and implement governance structures, providing assurance to NHS England, the New Hospital Programme (NHP), and HM Treasury.
- Manage programme teams and external contractors, ensuring successful delivery of pre-construction infrastructure projects.

Qualifications
Essential
- PRINCE 2 Practitioner Level.
- HM Treasury Better Business case training.
Desirable
- Post Graduate Qualification
- Construction qualification.
- Membership of relevant professional body or chartered status.
Experience
Essential
- Significant experience within the Healthcare sector at senior manager level including responsibility for strategic projects and programmes of change.
- Experience of leading and managing programmes, with considerable experience managing large capital schemes in the healthcare sector
- Experience of business case development for large or complex capital projects and of the work streams including Clinical Strategy, Workforce, IT and Estates.
Desirable
- Proven track record of delivering to challenging targets
- Considerable project management experience of large capital schemes in the healthcare sector
