Job summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Quality Nurse in our JAG accredited Endoscopy at Royal Stoke .
Applications are open for B6 registered nurses and above with 3yrs post registration experience of which 2yrs have been in endoscopy in the NHS and 1yr of taking charge.

Main duties of the job
The Junior Sister/Charge Nurse has delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical areas including assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and the setting of standards on a shift basis and in the authorised absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse. The Junior Sister/Charge Nurse will participate in innovation and evidence based nursing practice through professional leadership and supporting the clinical team in close liaison with the Sister/Charge Nurse and the Senior Staff Nurse for Quality The Junior Sister/Charge Nurse will act as a credible and professional role model and encourage and empower other staff to develop both personally and professionally to achieve their maximum potential. To have delegated responsibility for the operational and management issues in the authorised absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse, and take on the leadership of specific projects as agreed with the Sister/Charge Nurse.

- NMC registration, diploma in nursing, evidence of degree in nurse related studies, 2yrs experience at senior nurse level
