Main duties of the job
The University Hospitals of North Midlands is looking to recruit a Building Maintenance Craftsperson ( Joiner )trained to City & Guilds Craft Level or equivalent in joinery or building on a permanent basis. You will be keen and enthusiastic working with a skilled team to assist in the provision of a high level of service to a large acute hospital. Your duties will include the maintenance and repair to the various buildings on the hospital sites as well providing a flexible approach to other disciplines when required. Experience in wood machining would be beneficial but not essential. You will be stationed principally at the Royal stoke site working 37.5 hours per week but may be required to work at other sites belonging to or serviced by the UHNM and to take part in an on call system one week in every five weeks.

- City & Guilds final Craft Certificate / ONC in an Engineering Trade/NVQ 3
